HEADLINE: Beta testing is complete on the new WIP technology communications solution.

M.A.T.T.S., a leader in the design and production of Mobile Banking Systems and application specific wireless communication solutions, has officially finished its beta testing of the new IP based wireless communications solution for financial institution applications. WIP (Wireless Internet Protocol) as it is called, is being promoted as the first cost effective wireless alternative to telephone lease lines.

The WIP based technology solution offers a myriad of advantages over land based lease lines. In addition, there are no changes required to the ATM's hardware or software configuration.

The first production link(s) are planned to go into use within the next few months. ATMs (Automated Teller Machines) are expected to be a primary market for this new cost efficient wireless technology.
